Everyone’s Irish on March 17th

This past Sunday thousands of people lined the streets of Baltimore for the 58th annual Baltimore St. Patrick’s Day Parade.  For those of you who had the chance to attend, you know the day was filled with culture, music, dance, and tons of green.  But if you did not have the chance to celebrate yet, have no fear!  Baltimore is home to many Irish pubs and restaurants that are offering great Irish fare and deals this weekend for the holiday!

My personal favorites are corned beef and cabbage and a mashed potato side dish called colcannon…oh and of course Irish soda bread (food network has nothing on my mom’s recipe though).

So whether you venture out this weekend to celebrate at some of the local restaurants and watering holes or decided to stay in, remember— everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day!
